How long would it take for me to be able to fight?

Everyone progresses at a different rate. Most people require 3 to 4 years of training before they are ready for their first fight, exceptional athletes may be ready sooner. Most people who train have no intention of competing in an MMA fight or any other type of combat sport.

Proper training will give men, women, and children the ability to defend themselves and live their lives free of physical intimidation. After this goal is reached the individual can pursue competition goals (mma, bjj, kickboxing, etc), or continue to train for fitness and enjoyment.

Will there be any sparring in Kickboxing class?

There will be no sparring in any of the kickboxing classes. When a student has displayed technical proficiency and a mature attitude in class, the instructors may allow them to attend a separate sparring class.

Is it safe for kids?

Brazilian jiu jitsu is the ideal martial art to teach children. A full fighting system that will teach your child how to deal with an aggressor.

If your child is invested in other sports (hockey, baseball, soccer, etc), they may be subject to physical intimidation. Additional self defense training will allow your child to compete with the knowledge that they can defend themselves if bullied on the field of play.
